FAF, Financial Accounting Foundation.

Mark Schroeder was named Senior Advisor of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) in December 2012. In this role, he supports the FAF, its President and CEO, and other senior management in key FAF initiatives, including strategic planning and operations.

Mr. Schroeder was appointed post-implementation review leader by the Financial Accounting Foundation in 2010. In this role, Mr. Schroeder was responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the post-implementation review of standards and other authoritative pronouncements issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

Prior to joining the FAF, Mr. Schroeder was a senior partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation’s top accounting firms. During his extensive career with Deloitte, Mr. Schroeder provided audit and advisory services for both domestic and multinational enterprises in a number of diverse industries including banking, media, telecom, publishing, retail, cable, and broadcasting. He is a graduate of the University of Florida.
