CPE Forum

The FASB is hosting a technical forum for commercial accounting continuing professional education providers on January 30, 2014. The forum is open to stand-alone CPE providers whose primary business is to provide continuing professional education in addition to individuals who provide continuing professional education within their organization (for example, a CPA firm) or offered internally to their clients.

Details for the forum is as follows:

Date: Thursday, January 30, 2014

Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. (EST)

Location: FASB Office, 401 Merritt 7, Norwalk CT, 06856-5116

The technical forum will allow CPE providers an opportunity to discuss final and proposed accounting standards with Board members and FASB staff to assist in preparation of accounting and reporting courses.

Seating is limited. Therefore, we are limiting in person registration to two individuals per organization. In person registration is on a first come first served basis due to space constraints. CPE providers may also register to listen and participate in the live audio broadcast in order to provide all CPE providers with an opportunity to benefit from the discussion and ask questions. The broadcast will be archived and will provide those who teach your courses access to the topics discussed.
