The Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) is pleased to announce a webcast on its newly-issued Exposure Draft, Accounting and Financial Reporting for Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pensions. The areas covered will include:
- Background of the project
- How the OPEB liability would be measured and reported in the financial statements
- What information about OPEB governments would present in the notes to the financial statements and required supplementary schedules
- A question and answer period.

Learning Objectives: At the end of this program, participants will have a general understanding of the proposals contained in the Exposure Drafts.
