Unless otherwise announced, all meetings are held in the Board room at the FASB offices and are video or audio webcast on the FASB website and the FASB YouTube channel. If you have any questions, contact the FASB at 203 847-0700.

Scheduled Meetings
March 3
Meeting with the Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. EST

Members of the Board will meet with the Advisory Committee to discuss:
  1. The FASB’s project on financial statements of not-for-profit entities
  2. Implementation of Accounting Standards Update No. 2014-09, Revenue from Contracts with Customers (Topic 606), in the not-for-profit sector
  3. Recent trends, concerns, and observations
  4. The FASB’s project on accounting for financial instruments—impairment.
Advisory Committee members also will hear updates on certain FASB projects and research, including disclosure framework and financial performance reporting.

FASB Board Meeting, 9:00 a.m. EST
  1. Disclosure framework: disclosure review—fair value measurement. The Board will discuss disclosures related to fair value measurements.
  2. Financial statements of not-for-profit entities. The staff will ask the Board for permission to proceed in drafting a proposed Accounting Standards Update for vote by written ballot.
  3. Open discussion. If necessary, the Board will discuss minor issues on technical projects or administrative matters.

Private Company Accounting Issues Town Hall Meeting, 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CDT

The FASB and the Private Company Council (PCC) will host their fourth private company town hall meeting to provide private company stakeholders across a wide variety of industries with the opportunity to discuss private company accounting issues and share input on current and future agenda topics of both the FASB and the PCC.
